What Is the Zinn Creation Wizard?
The Zinn Creation Wizard is a guided, step-by-step tool that helps you build professional service listings (Zinns) on Zinn Hub. Instead of filling in a single long form and hoping you haven't missed anything, the wizard walks you through 11 focused steps — from your title and description all the way through to pricing, media, FAQs, and an AI quality check before publishing.
Whether you're a new freelancer creating your first Zinn or an experienced seller adding a new service, the wizard ensures every listing meets the same professional standard and has everything buyers need to make a confident purchase decision. How to Access the Wizard
There are several ways to get to the Zinn Creation Wizard:
1. From the Zinner Dashboard Sidebar
Log into your Zinner Dashboard. In the left-hand navigation menu, under the Wizards heading, click Zinn Wizard. This takes you directly to the wizard where you can create a new Zinn or continue working on a draft.
2. From Your Zinns List
In your Zinner Dashboard, click Zinns (Services) in the main menu. This shows all your published Zinns and drafts. Next to each Zinn you'll see an Edit button and an Edit in Wizard button — both now open the Zinn Creation Wizard with your existing data pre-loaded.
3. From a Published Zinn Page
When you're viewing one of your own published Zinns on the site, you'll see two buttons above the listing: Edit in Wizard and Zinner Dashboard. Click Edit in Wizard to jump straight into the wizard with all your existing content ready to update.
4. Add New Zinn
Click the Add New Zinn button in your dashboard to start a brand new listing from scratch in the wizard.
💡 Tip: The wizard auto-saves your progress every 30 seconds. You can close your browser, come back the next day, and pick up right where you left off.The 11 Steps
The wizard guides you through 11 focused steps. You can navigate between steps using the Next/Back buttons or by clicking the step dots at the top. When creating a new Zinn, steps unlock sequentially as you complete them. When editing an existing Zinn, all steps are accessible immediately.
Step 1 — Basics & Category
Set the foundation of your Zinn:
- Title: Your Zinn title — this is what buyers see first in search results
- Categories: Select up to 3 categories that best describe your service (these power the marketplace search filters)
- Skills: Add relevant skills/tags so buyers can find your Zinn
- Service Type: Choose whether this is a one-time service or a subscription-based service
- AI Usage: Declare whether you use AI tools in delivering this service (required for transparency)
Step 2 — Description
Write your sales copy:
- Short Description: A short summary (displayed in search results and at the top of your listing)
- Full Description: A full, detailed description using the rich text editor — explain your service, process, what's included, why buyers should choose you, and what makes your approach different
Step 3 — Packages & Add-ons
Set up your pricing structure:
- Packages: Create up to 3 packages (e.g. Basic, Standard, Premium) with different price points, delivery times, revision counts, and feature lists
- Add-ons: Add optional extras that buyers can add to any package — things like express delivery, additional revisions, or source files
- Subscribe & Save: If your service type is subscription-based, configure the billing period and optionally offer a Subscribe & Save discount
Step 4 — Comparison Table
If you have 2 or more packages, the wizard can auto-generate a professional comparison table showing the differences between your packages at a glance. This is displayed on your listing and helps buyers quickly compare options. You can customise the generated table or build one from scratch.
This step is skipped automatically if you only have one package.Step 5 — Images & Media
Upload your visual content:
- Featured Image: The main image that represents your Zinn across the site (required)
- Gallery: Additional images that showcase your work, process, or deliverables
Step 6 — Portfolio & Samples
Showcase your past work:
- Portfolio: Add portfolio items with titles, descriptions, images, YouTube/Vimeo videos, and external links. Each item represents a project or piece of work you've completed. Videos are lazy-loaded on the frontend so they don't slow down your page.
- Samples: Link to external examples of your work — Google Sheets, Google Drive files, Behance projects, GitHub repos, live websites, or anything relevant to your service
Step 7 — Service Details
Fill in the attributes that power the marketplace search filters:
- Availability: When you're typically available for this service
- Country: Where you're based (buyers filter by location)
- Languages Accepted: Which languages you can accept orders in
- NDA Available: Whether you're willing to sign an NDA
- Project Sizes: What project sizes you can handle
- Response Time: How quickly you typically respond to messages
- Experience: How many years of experience you have
Step 8 — Delivery & Requirements
Define what you need from buyers and what you'll deliver:
- Buyer Requirements: Set up the questions buyers must answer when placing an order — text fields, file uploads, dropdowns, etc.
- Deliverables: Specify what file formats you deliver in and your delivery method
- Post-Purchase Note: A message shown to the buyer after they complete their purchase
Step 9 — Custom Info Sections
Add custom information sections that appear on your listing. These are free-form label/value pairs grouped into sets — useful for technical specifications, process breakdowns, tools used, or any structured information that doesn't fit elsewhere.
Step 10 — FAQs
Add frequently asked questions and answers. A minimum of 3 FAQs is required. Good FAQs address the most common buyer concerns and objections — they reduce pre-purchase messages and speed up the buying decision.
💡 Tip: Think about what buyers ask you most often, and answer those questions here. Pricing, timelines, revisions, and what's included are always good topics.Step 11 — Final Touches & Publish
The final step brings everything together:
- Checklist: Check the readiness checklist — it shows which steps are complete and what's still needed
- Reviews: Import reviews from other platforms to build credibility
- Preview: Preview your Zinn to see exactly how it will look to buyers
- AI Check: Run the AI Quality Check (see below)
- Publish: Publish your Zinn when everything is ready
The AI Quality Check
Before publishing, you'll run an AI-powered quality check that analyses your entire listing across 8 scoring criteria:
- Title Quality
- Description Quality
- Title-Description Relevance
- Skills/Tags Relevance
- Category Fit
- Value Clarity
- Completeness
- Service Focus
Your Zinn needs an overall score of 8 out of 10 or higher to pass. Key areas like Title, Description, Value Clarity, and Category Fit each need to score 8 or above individually.
Why Are the Standards High?
We know it can feel like a tough bar to clear, but there's a good reason behind it. Zinn Hub is built around quality — low-quality listings don't sell, and they bring down the experience for everyone on the platform. The AI quality check exists to help you, not to block you. It's trained specifically for our marketplace and gives you:
- Specific feedback on what to improve and exactly where to make the changes
- Spelling and grammar corrections with one-click fix suggestions
- Category and skills/tags recommendations based on your actual service
- Pricing intelligence showing how your rates compare to similar services on the platform
- Missing buying signals — critical details that buyers need but you haven't included yet
- Title suggestions if your current title needs work
- AI-generated insights that will be displayed on your listing to help convert browsers into buyers
Think of it as having an expert marketplace consultant review your listing before it goes live. The result is a polished, professional Zinn that stands out from the competition and gives buyers the confidence to place an order. Every seller starts on the same footing — and that's a good thing.
💡 Tip: If you don't pass on the first try, don't worry. Read the feedback, make the suggested changes, and re-run the check. Most sellers pass on the second or third attempt.
Working With Drafts
When you start creating a new Zinn in the wizard, it's saved as a draft automatically. You can find all your drafts on the wizard landing page under the Your Drafts section.
- Click any draft to continue editing it from where you left off
- Progress is auto-saved every 30 seconds, and also when you switch browser tabs
- You can have multiple drafts in progress at the same time
Draft Expiry
Drafts are automatically removed after 30 days of inactivity. If you haven't opened or edited a draft in 30 days, it will be cleaned up. This keeps the system tidy and prevents abandoned drafts from cluttering your workspace. If you're working on something long-term, simply open the draft in the wizard once every few weeks to reset the timer.
Editing Published Zinns
You can edit any published Zinn at any time. Open it in the wizard from your Zinns list or from the Zinn's frontend page. All your existing content is pre-loaded across all 11 steps.
When you make changes to a published Zinn and re-run the AI quality check, the wizard tracks what has changed since your last check. If you modify anything after passing the AI check, you'll need to re-run it before publishing — this ensures the live version always matches what was reviewed.
Auto-Save & Browser Protection
The wizard is designed so you never lose work:
- Your progress is saved automatically every 30 seconds
- If you switch to another browser tab, your current step is saved immediately
- If you try to close the browser with unsaved changes, you'll get a warning
- Every step saves independently — completing one step doesn't affect others
You can safely close your browser, turn off your computer, and come back days later. Your Zinn will be exactly where you left it.
Tips for Creating a High-Quality Zinn
- Be specific in your title — describe exactly what you deliver, not a vague category name
- Write your description for buyers, not for search engines — explain your process, what makes you different, and why they should trust you
- Use all 3 package slots if possible — buyers love having options
- Upload real portfolio examples with images or videos — proof of work converts better than promises
- Add samples linking to real deliverables (Google Sheets, reports, live sites)
- Answer at least 5 FAQs covering pricing, timelines, revisions, and what's included
- Fill in every service detail field — these power the search filters that help buyers find you
- Set clear buyer requirements so you get exactly the information you need to start work
- Run the AI check early and often — use it as a guide, not just a final gate
