  2. Click Add Zinn at the top of the page

  3. The Zinn Creation Wizard opens and guides you through 10 simple steps

You can also go directly to https://zinnhub.com/zinn-wizard/

To edit an existing Zinn, click the edit link next to any Zinn in your dashboard — it opens the same wizard pre-filled with your current details.

Note: The number of Zinns you can create depends on your membership plan. Your current limits are shown at the top of your Zinner Dashboard (storage, files, and Zinns allowed).

The 10 Steps
Step 1 — Basics
Title
Your Zinn title is crucial for visibility. Make it clear, descriptive, and include keywords buyers might search for.

  • Good: "I will design a professional logo with unlimited revisions"

  • Avoid: "Logo design" (too vague)

Category
Select the most relevant service category (e.g., SEO, Web Design, Content Writing). This helps buyers find you when browsing and filtering.

Tags
Add relevant tags to improve discoverability. Think about what words a buyer would search for when looking for your service.

Product Type
Choose between:

  • One-Time — A single payment for the service

  • Subscription — Recurring billing for ongoing services (e.g., monthly SEO, content retainers)

Zinner Type
Select the type of Zinner you are for this service.

Step 2 — Description
Short Description
A brief summary shown in search results and listing cards. Keep it punchy and highlight your main selling point.

Full Description
Write a detailed description using the rich text editor. Include:

  • What's included in your service

  • Your process and approach

  • What makes you different

  • What the buyer will receive

  • Any requirements or limitations

Pro tip: Use formatting (headings, bold text, lists) to make it easy to scan and read.

Step 3 — Pricing
One-Time Pricing

  • Regular Price — Your standard rate

  • Sale Price (optional) — A discounted rate, with optional scheduling for limited-time offers

Consider: the value you're providing, market rates for similar services, your experience level, and time required.

Subscription Pricing
If you selected Subscription in Step 1, you'll see these fields instead:

  • Subscription Price — The recurring charge

  • Billing Period — Daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly

  • Billing Interval — e.g., every 1 month, every 3 months

  • Subscription Length — How long the subscription runs (or unlimited)

  • Sign-Up Fee (optional) — A one-time charge at the start

  • Free Trial (optional) — A trial period before billing begins

Subscriptions are ideal for ongoing services like monthly SEO management, content writing retainers, social media management, or website maintenance packages.

Step 4 — Media
Featured Image
Your main image shown in search results. Make it eye-catching, professional quality, and representative of your work.

Gallery Images
Add additional images showing portfolio examples, work samples, process screenshots, or before/after comparisons.

Recommended: At least 3–5 images to give buyers confidence in your work.

Step 5 — Service Details
Set 10 service attributes that help buyers filter, compare, and choose the right Zinner:

  • Availability — Full-time, part-time, weekends, etc.

  • Country — Where you're based

  • Languages Spoken — Languages you can work in

  • NDA Available — Whether you offer non-disclosure agreements

  • Project Sizes Handled — Small, medium, large, enterprise

  • Response Time — How quickly you typically reply

  • Revisions — Number of revision rounds included

  • Video Consultations — Whether you offer video calls

  • Years of Experience — Your experience level

  • Service Type — Auto-set based on your category

These details appear on your listing and are used by the marketplace filters, so filling them in accurately helps the right buyers find you.

Step 6 — Delivery & Requirements
Delivery Time
How many days will you need to complete the order? Be realistic — don't overpromise. Account for revisions and your other orders. Late deliveries hurt your reputation, so set a time you can reliably meet.

Requirements
Requirements are questions your buyer must answer after purchasing, before you start work. They help you collect everything you need to deliver a great result.

Click Add Requirement and configure each one:

  • Field Type — Choose from: Text Box, Text Area, Text Area with Editor, File Upload, Dropdown, Multi-select, or Radio Button

  • Required — Tick this if the buyer must answer before you can start

  • Question — The main question text

  • Question Description — Helper text explaining what you need and why

  • Frontend Label (optional) — A short label shown to the buyer

  • Options — For Dropdown, Multi-select, and Radio Button types, enter one option per line

Example Requirements by Service Type:

Logo Design:

  • "What is your business name exactly as it should appear?" (Text Box, Required)

  • "Describe your business and target audience" (Text Area, Required)

  • "What colours do you prefer?" (Text Box)

  • "Upload any reference images or logos you like" (File Upload)

  • "Any styles you want to avoid?" (Text Area)

Content Writing:

  • "What topic should I write about?" (Text Box, Required)

  • "Who is your target audience?" (Text Box, Required)

  • "Any specific keywords to include?" (Text Area)

  • "What tone do you want?" (Dropdown: Professional / Casual / Friendly / Authoritative)

  • "Word count requirement?" (Text Box, Required)

Web Development:

  • "What is the website URL?" (Text Box, Required)

  • "Describe the functionality you need" (Text Area with Editor, Required)

  • "Upload any reference sites or mockups" (File Upload)

  • "Do you have login credentials ready?" (Radio Button: Yes / No / Will provide later)

You can save your requirements as a template to reuse across multiple Zinns — no need to set them up from scratch each time.

Step 7 — Extras / Add-Ons
Add optional paid extras that buyers can select at checkout to customise their order. Each extra has:

  • Name — What's the extra?

  • Price — The additional cost

  • Description — What's included

Example Extras:

  • "Express 24-Hour Delivery" — £50 — "Get your order delivered within 24 hours"

  • "3 Extra Revision Rounds" — £15 — "Add 3 additional revision rounds to your order"

  • "Include Source Files" — £25 — "Receive editable source files (PSD, AI, SVG, etc.)"

  • "Social Media Kit" — £30 — "Logo resized and formatted for all major social platforms"

Extras help you increase your average order value while giving buyers flexibility.

Step 8 — Comparison Table
The wizard automatically generates a comparison table from your pricing, extras, and delivery information. This table is inserted into your Zinn description so buyers can easily see what's included at different price points.

Review the table and make any edits before it's added to your listing.

Step 9 — Custom Info Fields
Add any additional custom information specific to your service. These fields support templates, so you can save and reuse them.

Step 10 — Final Touches
The final step lets you:

  • Review a summary of everything you've set up across all steps

  • Add a Thank You note — A message shown to buyers after purchase

  • Add a Portfolio URL (optional) — Link to your external portfolio

  • Publish your Zinn

Check everything looks right, then hit publish. Depending on your account settings, your Zinn may go live immediately or await admin approval.

Your Progress Saves Automatically
The wizard saves your work automatically at every step. If you close your browser, lose connection, or navigate away, your progress is preserved. When you come back, you can continue right where you left off — you'll never lose your work.

Tips for Success
Be specific — Vague listings don't sell. Tell buyers exactly what they'll get.

Show your best work — Quality images make a huge difference. Add at least 3–5.

Price fairly — Research similar services on the marketplace and price competitively for your experience level.

Set realistic delivery — It's better to over-deliver than under-deliver. Late deliveries hurt your reputation.

Ask the right questions — Good requirements mean fewer back-and-forth messages and better results.

Use extras to upsell — Offer valuable add-ons that enhance your service.

Fill in all service details — The more attributes you complete, the more likely you are to appear in filtered searches.

Save templates — If you create multiple similar Zinns, save your requirements as templates to save time.

Need a Custom Quote Instead?
If a client needs something bespoke that doesn't fit your standard listing, you can send them a Custom Offer — a personalised quote with a direct checkout link. Find it under Custom Offers in your Zinner Dashboard menu. Learn more in the Custom Offers knowledge base article.
