Buyer Insights — Know Your Buyers Before You Sell

It gives you a detailed profile of any buyer you've worked with — their order history, spending habits, delivery behaviour, rejection patterns, review tendencies, and more — so you can make informed decisions before accepting or delivering work.

What Information Does Buyer Insights Provide?

When you look up a buyer, you'll see a comprehensive intel card broken down into the following sections:

Buyer Profile

• Account age (how long they've been on Zinn Hub)


• Country


• Last seen on the platform


• Role (buyer, vendor, or both)


• Telegram verification status (Verified, Pending, or Not Connected)

Trust Level & Score
Every buyer is assigned a trust level based on their platform activity. The levels are:

A trust signal summary line gives you a quick read — for example: "8 orders · $340 · 100% accept · Active messenger"

Orders & Spend

• Total paid orders across the platform


• Total lifetime spend


• Average order value


• Number of unique vendors they've bought from

Refund Profile

• Number of refunds requested


• Refund rate as a percentage


• Total amount refunded


• Whether they have any refund history at all (green "no refunds" badge when clean)

Delivery Behaviour

• 1st Time Accept Rate — how often they accept the first delivery without requesting revisions


• Total deliveries received


• Number of rejections


• Whether they tend to reject and then accept after revision

Review Profile

• How many reviews they've left


• Review rate (percentage of orders reviewed)


• Average star rating given


• Shows "never left a review" when they haven't reviewed anything

Purchase Patterns

• Categories they buy from most


• Order type breakdown (Standard, Subscribe & Save, Custom Offer, Subscription)

Recent Service Purchases (up to 10)
A table of their most recent orders across all vendors showing:

• Order number, service name, vendor, total, outcome, review, and date


• Click any order with a ▼ arrow to expand and see:
  
  
  
  • Buyer Requirements — exactly what the buyer submitted when placing the order (URLs, keywords, instructions, etc.)
  
  
  • Rejection History — every time they rejected a delivery, with the date and their rejection message
  
  
  
  


• Orders that have been rejected show a red "❌ rejected ×1" badge in the Outcome column so you can spot them at a glance

Subscriptions

• Active subscriptions, Subscribe & Save details, monthly recurring value, cancellation history

Custom Offers & Requests

• Offers received and conversion rate


• Offer requests submitted and their conversion rate

Communication

• Total messages sent via Zinn Messages


• Number of conversations


• Average reply time


• Responsiveness rating

Seller Notes

• Add private notes about a buyer that only you can see


• Add public notes visible to all vendors who've worked with that buyer


• Flag inappropriate public notes for admin review

Where Does Buyer Insights Show?

Buyer Insights appears in several places across the platform:

1. Dedicated Buyer Insights Page
Access from your Zinner Dashboard → Tools → Buyer Insights. This is the full deep-view page where you can search for any buyer by order number or name, and see their complete intel card.

2. Zinn Messages
When you open a conversation with a buyer — whether on the main messages page, in a mini-chat, or in a full-screen popup — a compact intel bar appears below the chat header showing their trust level badge and a link to view their full intel.

3. Service Order Pages
When viewing a specific service order, an "Intel" button appears next to the buyer's name, giving you one-click access to their full profile.

4. Order List
On your services provider order list, an Intel column shows a quick badge for each buyer so you can scan trust levels across all your orders.

5. Zinner Dashboard
Quick intel badges appear on your dashboard order cards and custom offer cards.

6. Custom Offers Page
When creating or viewing custom offers, intel links let you check the buyer before committing.


How Do I Access Buyer Insights?

1. Go to your Zinner Dashboard


2. Under the Tools section in the sidebar menu, click Buyer Insights


3. Use the search bar to look up a buyer by:
   
   
   
   • Order number — e.g. type #186844 or 186844
   
   
   • Buyer name — start typing their display name or username


4. The full intel card loads immediately

You can also click any "Intel →" or "View Full Intel →" link from messages, order pages, or dashboard cards to jump directly to a buyer's profile.


Important Notes

• Vendors only — Buyer Insights is exclusively available to Zinners (freelancers) with active vendor accounts. Buyers cannot see this data.


• You cannot view your own intel — for privacy reasons, you cannot look up your own buyer profile.


• Admin accounts are excluded — platform admin accounts do not appear in Buyer Insights.


• Data is cached for 15 minutes — use the 🔄 refresh button to force a fresh data pull if needed.


• Private notes are truly private — only you can see notes you mark as private. Public notes are visible to all vendors who have an order relationship with that buyer.
